2018 Formula1 Season: McLaren Set For BIG Change
They’re one of the most-spoken about teams and last year, it wasn’t all for the best reason however McLaren seem to be determined to prove their point for the 2018 Formula1 season.
Executive director, Zak Brown has spoken to the media saying – “Our whole brand, the visibility of McLaren is going to the next level and it’s going to be exciting. We know what a lot of the other teams are going to look like but hopefully people will see the biggest change on (and off) the track at McLaren when we go to Australia.“
Adding – “We are calling this a new era, we are back and we are going to have some great things like a new garage. One of the things which McLaren hasn’t done in recent years is be a leader – we need to step up and be the guys in Australia where everyone says, did you see what McLaren did?“
It’s thought that the car livery colour will also be changing from the metallic orange we saw in 2017 to a yellow tone – all to do with their sponsor partnership with Renault.
Little by little, we’re seeing teams sharing on social media and below, you can see the latest tweet from McLaren.
There’s a lot to look forward to for the 2018 Formula1 season and we can’t wait to see all the car launches starting next month along with pre-season testing!
