Formula 1 New Logo
It’s one of the most recognisable logos in the world and over the past few weeks we’ve seen different repots and different logo and despite fans disapproval of the change – Formula 1 has now unveiled the new logo at the 2017 season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The new design which will feature ‘F1’ in a solid red colour will be used from the start of the 2018 Formula 1 Campaign and below, you can see what Liberty Media’s Chase Carey had to say about the change.
Chase Carey – “What we wanted to do was provide a fresh energy to the sport and I think that we have a lot of plans for the future – a lot of things we want to do and we thought that the logo would be a good way to emphasises the excitement, the fresh energy and a new day to take the sport to a new place.”
“That’s respecting what the sport has been – we’re not looking to change the sport but we’re looking to provide a fresh innovation and energy to a great sport which we can enhance in a number of ways.“
Here is something which describes this moment for many fans – perfectly!
