Ayrton Senna Tribute – 23rd Anniversary

It’s been 23 years since the horrific accident which killed Ayrton Senna but he’s far from forgotten.

He’s a true legend within the sport and is still considered as one of the best drivers of all time – winning 3 Formula One World Championships for McLaren in 1988, 1990 and 1991.

Since his death on the 1st May 1994, Senna has been voted as the best and most influential Formula One driver of all time through different motorsport polls.

He also holds a record of 6 victories at the Monaco Grand Prix and is the fifth-most successful driver of all time – in terms of race wins.

Ayrton Senna Quotes

“If a person has no dreams, they no longer have any reason to live. Dreaming is necessary, although in the dream reality should be glimpsed. For me, this is a principle of life.”

“I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence.”

“If you have God on your side, everything becomes clear.”

“Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose.”

“I continuously go further and further – learning about my own limitations, my body limitation and psychological limitations. It’s a way of life for me.”

“Whoever you are, no matter what social position you have – rich or poor, always show great strength and determination. Always do everything with much love and deep faith in God – One day, you will reach your goal.”

He might be gone but he’s left behind a legacy and will never be forgotten.
